For wildlife emergencies:

1) Find another permitted rehabber; a few suggestions to try:

• Fran Kitchen at 330-745-2947 – she is THE original wildlife rehabber in Ohio. She’s excellent but gets a TON of calls. She does not have voicemail so just keep trying.
• Dr. Christine Pappas at 440-729-9584 – a vet AND permitted wildlife rehabber – wildlife intakes are at no charge
• Birds in Flight Sanctuary at 330-652-3381 – we have brought birds to them

2) Metro Vet in Akron sometimes intakes critical wildlife at no cost. CALL FIRST to confirm before you go: 330-666-2976.

3) Steps to take until you connect with a rehabber.
